Quaker Armchair Priced in Grade C
This elegant-designed Quaker armchair has clean lines and soft curved edges. The chair bow is steam bent from a single ash rail into a tight radius bend and then sanded and shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile. In traditional wedge joints, where the legs come through the seat, a wedge is inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is hand sanded flush with the seat, to create a lovely design detail and a very strong joint.
